Meebo web based instant messaging for your website

Are you the type of person who enjoys chatting to your visitors, todays really cool widget comes from a MEEBO and is suitable for any website called Meebome.

Meebome makes use of technologies such as AJAX to make it act more like a desktop application, which dramatically improves usability. Many users enjoy the benefits of a native DHTML application, as it does not consume as many system resources as a Java applet (such as ICQ2Go or Yahoo Web Messenger).

Video Advertising has arrived

Yume NetworksYume networks has recently launched  online contextual video advertising, although still highly experimental I am sure it will do fabulously well , a new startup and new concept  and the stage is set.

Yume networks is capable of delivering video adverts to any device such as PC, TV, Mobile phones and PDA’s via live streaming or download, with its potential reach I am sure this concept is going to be a winner.

Registerfly.com gets swatted by ICANN

registerfly-logo.gifDue to a possible internal power struggle by the looks of it, ICANN has terminated the Registerfly accreditation agreement which has left over a million domain owners clutching their domains and trying to make a run for safety.

The termination comes into affect as of the 31 March 2007

The ICANN announcement and letter to Registerfly can be found here

Thus far many domain owners have already lost their domains to “snatchers” but hopefully ICANN will be able to assist in getting this rectified, and hopefully will also assist in transferring the domains to a more reputable domain registrar on the 31st which would be the D day for many of the Registerfly registrants.

For those of you who are Registerfly clients more information can be found on Registerflies.com
